How is Inside Out 2 linked to mental health ? What does it teaches us ?

Emotions play a big part in our daily lives. Without them, we won't be humans after all.

So, recently Inside Out 2 just came out in the theater and I watched it with my aunt and elder brother.

The movie was really epic and well-displayed. It was a satisfying movie to watch.

Today we will discuss the theme of how Inside Out 2 is linked to mental health and what it teaches us.

Now, we know that mental health is a sensitive topic. But I would like to write about this cause it is an interesting topic to share.

As you can see, there are now new emotions in Riley's life.

Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment have come to the headquarters of Riley's mind.

As Riley has officially becomes a teenager now, there are lots of things going around.

So how is Inside Out 2 linked to mental health ?

Well, let's find out .

Inside Out 2 teaches us that it is ok to not be ok sometimes. Cause we humans have all different kinds of emotions and that's ok to feel the way we do .

Anxiety is there to protect us from harm but too much of it can cause a panic attack. Just as Riley was experiencing a panic attack cause Anxiety was overprotective of her .

It also teaches us that sometimes change happens and that might affect us as well. The change doesn't stop until we are adults. Be it in a positive or negative situation, change can significantly impact our mental health. And that's why it is important to take care of our mental health.

Another thing is that non of our emotions are bad. We all need healthy emotions to prepare us from any threats. And that is the good thing about our emotions. They are there to protect us.

Ultimately, " Inside Out 2" encourages a more nuanced view of emotions, promoting emotional intelligence and resilience. It teaches that acknowledging and validating our emotions is crucial, but so is remembering that they are just one part of a larger, more complex self. This perspective fosters a healthier relationship with our emotional life, allowing us to embrace our feelings without being overwhelmed by them. In doing so, we can navigate our inner world with greater clarity and compassion, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling existence.

Inside Out 2 exceedingly shows that navigating our emotions and mental health can be challenging, especially during times of change . However, this is a friendly reminder to take care of ourselves and our mental well-being.
